Cyril Beecher is an independent researcher and a member of the Oriental Ceramics Society. He is a very well known collector of 17th century Chinese blue and white porcelain who originally was an environmental scientist. One aspect of collecting that particularly intrigues him is the source material which served as the inspiration for the designs on 17th century blue and white.
