Chinese famille-verte stem cup, Kangxi (1662-1722) Ref: TL366
Chinese famille-verte stem cup, Kangxi (1662-1722), of octagonal shape and thinly potted. The foot is splayed at the base with a green enamel ring. The border and outlines to the eight panels are in underglaze blue - whilst the birds and flowers contained within are in the famille-verte palette. Height: 10 cm, condition: With both a restored hairline and restored chips to the corners of the rim. There is also a small visible area of restoration of approximately 1 cm on the base.

Large Chinese famille-verte plate, Kangxi (1662-17 Ref: TL382
Large Chinese famille-verte plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), with slightly everted rim and decorated with a rocky landscape with pavilions and maidens. Around the rim is a diaper-pattern border with eight reserves each filled with auspicious emblems. The painter in his decoration of the plate has been able to give attention to the scene, colour and depth. The decoration is well drawn and beautifully enamelled. The dish can be regarded as a good example of the fully developed famille verte style and palette. Diameter: 39 cm, condition: There are two adjoining pieces out of the rim of a combined length of approximately 15 cm with a resulting crack that extends across the diameter of the plate. The enamels are good with no sign of rubbing.
