Large Chinese famille-verte dish, early Kangxi (1662-1722), the centre with a vessel of archaic bronze form containing peacock feathers, a ruyi sceptre, a branch of coral and a spray of flowers, surrounded by some of the 'hundred antiques' including a weiqi board, beribboned scrolls, painted fans and materials for calligraphy, the reverse with four beribboned babao to the rim and another in underglaze blue within a double footrim.
