Japanese blue and white Arita dish, circa 1700, decorated in the Chinese kraak style, the centre with a bird perched on a rock and one in flight, with flowers and pomegranates, the rim divided into six panels alternating with peony and bamboo with cherry blossom, Provenance: From the Collection of Timothy Lewis (1937-2004), Melplash Court, Dorset.
