A pair of Chinese blue and white plates, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with a lady seated at her dressing table looking into a mirror while doing her hair, with another table behind a screen just showing with a vase containg branches, both tables on a diamond-chequered floor,the scene framed by a curtain, an apocryphal Chenghua mark to the base,; one plate with very small shallow frit, the other with 2 flakes to rim and a small chip.
