Chinese famille verte dish, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the centre with a banded lotus-shaped roundel containing scattered leafy blossoms including prunus and peony, against a diaper ground in iron-red, the rim with large peony heads in red, turquoise and yellow against a red cell ground with curling foliage, the reverse with three floral sprays and channel footring.
