Chinese famille verte plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in the centre with a poem and a bird perched upon a branch of blossoming flowers, the rim with four yellow-rimmed floral cartouches containing peony sprays, against a green stippled ground with magnolia and peony heads.
