Chinese famille verte mustard pot and cover, Kangxi (1662-1722), on a raised flaring foot, with moulded handle, decorated with branches and sprays of flowering peony, between bands of assorted flowers against a green stippled ground or floral cartouches against iron red fish scale ground; the lid with stylised peony and seed pods within a band of scattered flowers against a green stippled ground.
